• Olivia is a mixed-media visual artist and slam poet currently based in southern California. She holds a Bachelor of 2D Fine Arts from the University of Arizona.

Her visual style is largely defined by a mix of abstract expressionism and surrealism, using vivid color and symbolic imagery. Olivia’s artwork is primarily dedicated to expressing the intimate components of mental health and cognitive differences, bringing to light the complexity and wonder of the conscious experience.

As a poet and spoken word artist, Olivia shares her life experiences and perspectives with the intent to illustrate the power of our human emotions and encourage the shared common humanity that exists amongst all of us.

Olivia was initially inspired by her Abuela, an artist and poet, who encouraged her to explore her creative instincts as a child. These creative instincts have become her most reliable outlet for what she experiences internally, allowing her to process an overwhelming and ceaseless flow of intense emotions.

Her poetry has been published in various anthologies, her artwork has been included in exhibits around the country, she has been a guest performer at a variety of events, but her most beloved accolades are the moments of real-life connection in response to her authenticity. Olivia finds great honor and gratitude in inspiring someone to feel, to question, to learn, to heal, to express, and ultimately to be more fully human.
